Andrew H.

Andrew H. has extensive work experience in various industries. Andrew began their career in 2002 as a Mathematics Tutor in Cheney School District. From there, they worked as a Coordinator for Boy Scouts of America and as an Offsite Director for YMCA of Greater Seattle. In 2003, they joined Lutheran Community Services Northwest as a Child Welfare Therapeutic Aid and later became a Program Director for Girl Scouts of the USA. In 2005, Andrew became an Authorized Provider/Instructor for the American Red Cross and also started working as a Military & Family Life Consultant for MHN Government Services in 2011. In the same year, they founded their own company, Andrew Hill LLC, where they served as a Principal Consultant until 2020. Additionally, Andrew worked at Eastern Washington University as a Psychological Counselor and at Excelsior Wellness, where they held various roles including Mental Health Therapist, Therapeutic Recreation Services Coordinator, Compliance Manager, Behavior Rehabilitation Services Director, Director of Residential Services, Associate Director, and ultimately became the CEO.

Andrew H. has a Master of Science - MS degree in Clinical, Counseling and Applied Psychology from Eastern Washington University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Recreation & Leisure Service Management from the same university, completing their studies from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Andrew H. has obtained various certifications. Andrew became a Level-C Clinical Assessment from Pearson Clinical Assessment UK in September 2013. In September 2011, they earned the Child and Youth Behavioral Specialist (CYBS) certification from MHN Government Services. Andrew H. also holds the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification from the Washington State Department of Health, which they obtained in September 2010. Andrew received the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) certification from the Harborview Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in September 2010 as well.

Furthermore, Andrew H. has the Recreation Therapist (RT) certification from the Washington State Department of Health, which they obtained in September 2009. Andrew has been certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by The National Board for Certified Counselors since September 2008. Andrew H. became a Registered Counselor with the Washington State Department of Health in January 2007. Andrew also holds the Authorized Instructor certification from the American Red Cross, obtained in September 2006. Lastly, in September 2006, Andrew H. obtained the Managing Land Search Operations (MLSO) and Swift Water Rescue certifications from Emergency Response International.
