Larraine Segil

Larraine Segil has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. In 1994, they began their career as an author, publishing multiple books and articles on business alliances and leadership. In 2007, they founded Larraine Segil Inc, a selective coaching practice for CEOs, where they provide strategic advice and executive coaching. Larraine also served as an Executive Coach at Vantage Partners LLC until 2007 when they became a Partner Emeritus.

In 2012, Segil founded the Exceptional Women Alliance, where they currently serve as the Founder, Chair, and CEO. Larraine is also involved in various organizations such as the Alliance Strategies, National Association of Corporate Directors Southern California and National Board Leadership Fellow, APCO Worldwide, Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, and TELACU Education Foundation, holding board member and advisory roles. Additionally, they have been an Adjunct Professor at Southwestern Law School, teaching courses on web-based startups and strategic alliances. Throughout their career, Segil has been recognized for their expertise in strategic alliances and has given keynote speeches worldwide.

Larraine Segil's education history includes a variety of degrees and areas of study. Larraine attended Kingsmead College from 1952 to 1964, where they did not earn a specific degree but likely completed general education coursework. In 1965, they enrolled at the University of the Witwatersrand and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin, Classics, and English in 1968. Larraine continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Latin in 1969, which is the equivalent of a Master's degree. In 1970, Larraine began pursuing a LLB degree (Bachelor of Laws) at the University of the Witwatersrand, but left four months before graduation due to emigration to the United States. From 1977 to 1979, they attended Southwestern Law School and completed their Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Lastly, in 1984, Larraine attended the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School where they completed the Presidential Key Executive Program and earned an MBA.
