Brenda Higuchi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 1993, they worked as a Research Analyst at Gallup Canada, Inc. until 1994. In 1995, they joined Spectrum Decision Sciences as a Business Intelligence Analyst, staying until 1996. The same year, they briefly worked as a Project Manager at Canada Trust (now TD Bank). From 1996 to 2000, they held the role of Director of Analytics at Tener Solutions Group. Brenda then moved on to Direct Energy in 2003 as the Regional Director of Customer Management, where they integrated, re-organized, and led a team of analysts. In 2001, Brenda joined Aimia Inc as the Vice-President of Analytics & CRM, where they assisted clients in leveraging customer insights and marketing assets. Finally, in 2014, they became the SVP of Analytics and Optimization at Exchange Solutions, a company specializing in customer engagement programs.
Brenda Higuchi holds a Master of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Toronto, which they obtained in 1995. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Statistics at McMaster University, graduating between the years 1989 and 1993. In addition to their formal education, Brenda also obtained several certifications. In 2006, they obtained the P.CRM certification from the Association for the Advancement of Relationship Marketing. Following that, in 2012, Brenda obtained two more certifications: "The Fundamentals of Management Consulting" from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC-Canada) and "Leading Professional Services Firms" from the Harvard Business School.
