Greg Walters

Greg Walters has extensive work experience in the medical industry, with a focus on product development and executive leadership roles. Greg is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Excision Medical, Inc. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Access and Closure at Teleflex Incorporated from 2018 to 2019. From 2010 to 2018, they held the position of President and CEO at Essential Medical, Inc.

Before their time at Essential Medical, Inc., Greg worked at Kensey Nash Corporation, where they held various roles, including VP of Product Development, Director of Product Development, Senior R&D Engineer, and Development Engineer. In these positions, they led the development and commercialization of medical devices, secured regulatory approvals, and supported clinical studies.

Prior to their work at Kensey Nash Corporation, Greg was an Electro-Optics Engineer at General Electric Company, where they designed and built lasers for laser survivability testing. Greg also participated in GE's corporate engineering program. Greg began their career as an Edison Engineer at GE.
