Craig Hughes

Craig Hughes has held various roles in the tech industry since 2000. Craig began their career as the Vice President of Engineering at Broadbase in 2000. In 2002, they founded Deersoft, Inc. and served as the CTO. Craig also served as Chief Architect at Network Associates, Inc. in 2002. In 2004, they founded Gumstix, Inc., where they served as the CTO and designed and implemented all software for the gumstix computing platform. In 2008, they founded Loka.com and served as the CTO. Craig then founded TrickPlay Inc. in 2009 and served as the CTO. Craig joined Cognoa in 2016 as the CTO. Craig also served as an Advisor (ex-CTO) at ExecThread, Inc. from 2015. Currently, they are thinking on social, economic, and political consequences of crypto for a company that specializes in tax tracking and tax-efficient investments for DeFi.

Craig Hughes attended St Paul's School, London from 1987 to 1992. Craig then attended Stanford University from 1992 to 1996, where they studied Symbolic Systems.
