Alyssa Smith, MPH, CPH, currently serves as a Health Policy Analyst at the Executive Office of the Governor, having joined the team in January 2023. Previously, Alyssa held multiple positions at Pure Barre from February 2020 to May 2023, including Lead Teacher, where responsibilities included hiring, onboarding, and training schedule management, as well as teaching various fitness classes. Alyssa also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Florida State University, assisting in the Public Health Program from January to December 2022, and held an internship at HNI Healthcare, focusing on financial metrics in hospital spending. Alyssa obtained a Master of Public Health from Florida State University in May 2023 and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the same institution in 2021.

Office of Trade, Tourism, and Economic Development (OTTED). OTTED provides executive direction and staff support to develop policies and advocate for economic diversification and improvements in Florida’s business climate and infrastructure. Economic development programs are implemented through public/private partnerships for which OTTED provides direct oversight.
