Mark Michaels

Mark Michaels is an experienced professional with a diverse background in coaching, consulting, and education. As the Founder and Principal of The Candidate's Coach since January 2019, Mark provides pro-bono coaching for progressive political candidates in the greater Chicago area. Mark also serves as an Engagement Manager and Consultant for the Executive Service Corps, offering strategic planning and governance support to nonprofit organizations. Additionally, Mark chairs the Campaign Committee for Ann Gillespie's Illinois State Senate run and offers training and public speaking services as a self-employed consultant. Previously, Mark held various leadership roles including UniServ Director for the Illinois Education Association and President of People Technologies. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Religion/Religious Studies from Temple University, along with experience as an Adjunct Instructor at Benedictine University.
