Renan Guedes

Renan Guedes has a diverse work experience in various managerial positions in the consulting industry. Renan is currently the CEO and Founding Partner of Exed Consulting, a global consulting company with a team of over 300 people. Under their leadership, the company has achieved SAP Gold Partner status and received recognition for its expertise in supply chain planning and logistics, as well as in SAP S/4HANA implementation. Renan has also played a key role in expanding the company's operations in Latin and North America, resulting in significant revenue growth.

Prior to their current role, Renan worked as a Managing Partner and Founder at Exed Consulting, where they were responsible for marketing, alliances, sales, and team management. Renan gained extensive experience in portfolio, program, and project management of IT consulting and implementation projects across various industries.

In addition to their consulting roles, Renan has served as a Mentor and Angel Investor at FEA Angels, providing guidance and support to start-up companies. Renan has also worked as a Professor and Researcher at FIA Business School, teaching MBA programs on subjects such as project management, business process management, and IT services management. Renan was a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council during their time at FIA.

Earlier in their career, Renan held the position of Managing Director at MGS Consulting Group, where they led sales and delivery of management consulting and SAP implementation projects in automotive, chemicals, consumer products, and banking industries. Renan also served as a Senior Manager at Indra (formerly Politec IT Global Services) and Capgemini (formerly CPM Braxis), overseeing SAP consultancy and project management for public sector, financial services, and banking clients.

Renan's career in the consulting industry started at Capgemini, where they worked as a Consultant and later progressed to the role of Project Manager. During their time at Capgemini and Software AG (formerly IDS Scheer), they gained experience in sales and project portfolio management, with a focus on industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, mining, utilities, telecom, oil & gas, and engineering & construction.

Renan Guedes began their education at Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de São Paulo (CEFET/SP) from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Technical degree in Business Analysis and Computer Science. Renan then attended USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2001 to 2005, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Renan continued their education at Harvard Business School in 2009, completing the High Potential Leadership Program (HPLP) as an Executive certification.

In 2010, Renan returned to USP - Universidade de São Paulo for a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business Management, which they completed in 2012. Renan further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Doctor of Management (PhD) degree in Business Management, graduating in 2016.

Renan Guedes has also acquired various certifications throughout their career. From 2001, they hold the SAP Netweaver Certified Consultant certification. In 2008, they obtained the ITIL V3 Foundation certification and the PMP - Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute. In 2016, Renan acquired the PCC - Professional Coach Certification and the Professional DiSC Certification from the International Association of Coaching (IAC). More recently, they have obtained several certifications from SAP, including SAP Activate Learning Room for SAP S/4HANA in 2017, SAP Certified Associate Project Manager (C_PM_71) in 2017, Guide Your SAP S/4HANA Project to Success in 2020, SAP Certified Associate - SAP Activate Project Manager in 2020, Digital Supply Chain – From Design to Operate in 2021, Sales Knowledge 2021 - SAP Partner Digital and Social Selling Expert in 2021, and SAP Innovation & Advisory Knowledge 2020 - SAP Digital Supplier Network Ambassador in 2021.
