Jean-René Bastien

Jean-René Bastien has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Jean-René began their career at AGC System & Technologies in 1997, where they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst and Supervisor until 1999. Jean-René then joined BancTec in 1999 and held various roles, including Software Quality Manager from 1999 to 2004 and Software Development Manager from 2004 to 2018. Currently, since 2018, they serve as the Director of Software Development at Exela Technologies.

Jean-René Bastien obtained a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. In addition, they participated in a foreign exchange program at INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in 1991 and 1992, focusing on Civil Engineering.
