Amy Hilderbrand

Amy Hilderbrand has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Amy currently holds the position of Director of Bioanalytical Sciences at Exelixis, where they started in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Associate Director of Chemical Biology and Principal Scientist at Frontier Medicines from 2020 to 2022. From 2019 to 2020, they served as the Director of Bioanalytics at Antheia, Inc. Before that, they worked at Fitbit as an Analytical Group Manager from 2017 to 2019. Amy also has experience at Genentech as a Scientist from 2012 to 2017, and at Hoffmann-La Roche as a Scientist from 2010 to 2012. Amy started their career as a Demonstration Chemist at Thermo Fisher Scientific from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Lab Technician at GlaxoSmithKline from 1998 to 2000 and at RTI International from 1997 to 1998. Amy's work experience spans a wide range of roles and responsibilities, including bioanalytical sciences, chemical biology, protein characterization, LC/MS techniques, and inhalation product development.

Amy Hilderbrand earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from North Carolina State University from 1994 to 1998. Amy then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Analytical Chemistry at Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2005. Following that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Arizona from 2005 to 2007.
