Sam Ho

Sam Ho is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Director of Commercial Drug Product Manufacturing at Exelixis since May 2018. In this role, Sam manages the commercial manufacturing of Cabometyx (cabozantinib) tablets, overseeing strategic supply planning and contract manufacturing operations while being recognized as a subject matter expert in process design, tech transfer, validation, and improvement projects. Prior to this, Sam held various positions at Boehringer Ingelheim, including Associate Director and Senior Manufacturing Manager, where Sam played a key role in drug substance and product validation, contributing to the successful FDA approval of the biosimilar Cyltezo. Additionally, Sam has experience at Impax Laboratories in process development and validation, and at UC San Diego Health, where Sam managed the production of cowpea mosaic virus for research purposes. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from UC San Diego.
