Yinzi Liu

Yinzi Liu, PhD, currently serves as Director of Corporate Finance, Business Development, and M&A at Exelixis since October 2021, after holding the position of Associate Director in the same field. Prior to this, Yinzi Liu was an Engagement Manager, Consultant, and Senior Analyst at Health Advances, a healthcare strategy consulting firm, from October 2015 to October 2021. Earlier experience includes project management roles at The BALSA Group, where Yinzi Liu led teams for clients including biotechnology startups and Washington University. Yinzi Liu's academic background includes a PhD in Developmental, Regenerative, and Stem Cell Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, where research focused on oncogenes in vertebrate development. Additional teaching assistant roles were held at the Marine Biological Laboratory. Yinzi Liu also completed a finance leadership certificate from Harvard Business School Online.
