Erica Borggren

Erica Borggren is an accomplished leader in customer strategy and public service with extensive experience in energy efficiency and veterans' affairs. Currently serving as Vice President of Customer Strategy & Experience at Exelon since April 2024, Erica previously held several leadership roles at ComEd, including Vice President of Customer Solutions and Vice President of Customer Channels, where efforts focused on enhancing customer engagement and energy management solutions. Prior to ComEd, Erica acted as Secretary of the Illinois Department of Transportation, overseeing critical transportation initiatives, and held the Director position at the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs, managing a significant agency budget and operations for veteran services. Erica served in the US Army, gaining experience as a primary speechwriter for General David Petraeus and leading a medical company in a combat support hospital. Erica's academic credentials include a Postgraduate Diploma and an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford as well as a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
