Tj Johnson

TJ Johnson serves as the Senior Manager of Transmission Operations & Support at Exelon since October 2022, overseeing operations support activities including transmission planning and control room support. Prior experience includes roles at ComEd, where TJ held positions such as Transmission Operations Shift Manager and Senior System Operator, focusing on the safe operation of the transmission system. TJ also functioned as a Senior Project Manager, managing substation upgrades, and previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager at Burns & McDonnell, contributing to 500kV transmission line upgrades. Early career experience includes project engineering at Encore Electric, field engineering at Mass. Electric Construction, and engineering work with the City of South Bend. TJ holds an MBA in Public Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
