Susan Marshall

Susan Marshall is a Non-Executive Director with Exemplar Health Care. She supports the Executive Team in making decisions that ensure the delivery of excellent care and services for their service users.

Susan is the Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee, a sub-committee of the Board.

Susan started working for Exemplar Health Care in July 2021. She has a breadth of experience in the health and social care sector. Her career started as a Nurse in the NHS before she moved to the independent sector. Most recently she worked as a Consultant providing regulatory and quality governance support to a range of organisations.

Previously, Susan has held senior roles at Care UK including as a Project Manager involved in commissioning an independent sector treatment centre and as a Quality Governance Director.

Susan has also worked at Nuffield Health, including roles as a Hospital Manager and group Head of Patient Quality. Susan has a particular interest in quality improvement in healthcare and the service user’s experience.
