Gerardo Castro has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Gerardo began their career at Ford Motor Company in 2003 as an Industrial Engineer. In 2006, they joined Apsm Systems as a Product Engineer, where they played a pivotal role in transferring and launching production lines in Mexico. Gerardo also implemented lean manufacturing and the use of Kaizen philosophy to improve cost-effectiveness and reliability in the manufacturing process.

In 2007, Gerardo moved to Munekata Mexicana as a Quality Engineer, where they worked closely with customers to address complaints and establish corrective and preventive actions. Gerardo also conducted audits and led a cross-functional reliability team to ensure the successful transfer of new products to production and improve product quality.

Gerardo was responsible for assuring and controlling the quality of multiple platforms, responding to quality issues, and leading the establishment and implementation of effective CAPAs. Gerardo also coordinated team efforts to monitor and improve DPMs at the customer level.

Since 2014, Gerardo has been with Exemplis LLC, initially serving as a Quality Manager before being promoted to Operations Manager. Their responsibilities in these roles included overseeing operations and ensuring quality standards were met. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Senior Operations Manager.
