Peter Jeffery

Peter Jeffery has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Peter began their career as a Project Engineer at Shell through a university scholarship. Following this, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southampton, where they conducted various research contracts and developed a laser-based 3D profilometer.

Peter then transitioned into roles as a Product and Process Development Engineer at TRW and an Engineering Consultant at Prosigma Ltd. At ITT Industries, Peter served as a Senior Product & Process Development Engineer.

Peter'scareer took a significant turn when they joined CoActive Technologies as an Advanced Technology Manager. In this role, they led project teams in delivering new technology product lines to the market, including the development of optical light-guide product lines and highly-automated production lines.

After several successful years at CoActive Technologies, Peter moved on to Nelson Miller Inc, where they held the position of Engineering Director. In this capacity, they led the global Engineering team, overseeing program management, new product development, and manufacturing engineering for a high-volume manufacturing company.

Currently, Peter is employed at Exemplis LLC as the Director of Product Development.

Peter Jeffery has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Peter obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton, where they studied from 1989 to 1994. Driven by their passion for the subject, Peter pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton from 1995 to 1999. Peter'scommitment to continuous learning is showcased through their Six Sigma Greenbelt certification, which they obtained from the University of Michigan in October 2004.
