Marcus Ivey

Marcus Ivey has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Marcus began their career as a Materials Engineering Co-op Student at Acuren in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Research Student at Institut Jean Lamour. From 2013 to 2016, they held multiple roles at the University of Alberta, including Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant, and Programs and Planning Officer. Marcus then served as Director of Programs and Planning from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, Marcus joined Quantiam Technologies Inc. as a Research Professional and Acting Business Development Manager, contributing to R&D projects and promoting product lines through marketing and sales activities. Currently, they work as a Project Engineer at Exergy Solutions, starting in 2021.

Marcus Ivey earned a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta from 2008 to 2013. Marcus then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2013 to 2015.
