Nestor Avramov has a long and varied career in software engineering. Nestor began their professional career in 2001 as a Software Developer at ABB, developing a Windows-based tool written in MS Visual C++ for configuration and data visualization of a circuit breaker control unit via serial (RS-232) interface, a tool for controlling IEEE 488 (GPIB) compatible measuring instruments in LabVIEW (National Instruments), and a signal multiplexer with 1.5 Mbit optical inputs and outputs. In 2003, they joined British Telecommunications as a Software Developer, designing and building client components for the Computational Intelligence Group projects. In 2004, they moved to Seavus as a Software Developer, developing a telephony management solution (Callisto) that provides companies with the ability to fully integrate their telephony system with various Internet and Intranet systems. In 2006, they joined Motorola Solutions as a System Architect and Senior Staff Engineer, and then as a Senior System Engineer, leading architecture for various Public Safety (TETRA Infrastructure and Portable Radio) features and functioning as a product owner for one of the scrum teams in the Connected Home business unit. In 2012, they joined Schneider Electric as the Head of Architecture Team for the Connected Home Business Unit, and in 2016 they joined Danfoss as the Head of Service Development, Director of SW Engineering, Danfoss Climate Solutions. In this role, they started up and led a new service development organization that grew from 5 to 40 people during a period of 2 years. Nestor also held roles as the Director of Digital Business and IoT, Danfoss Heating, and Head of IoT Platform, Danfoss Heating. In 2022, they joined Exerp as the Global VP of Engineering.

Nestor Avramov completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the Copenhagen Business School between 2017 and 2019. Prior to this, they completed a Masters in Telecommunications from the DTU - Technical University of Denmark between 2005 and 2007. Nestor also obtained a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) from Microsoft in April 2005, a Networks+ from CompTIA in August 2007, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in October 2015. Before their Masters, Nestor Avramov studied Computer Engineering, Informatics and Automation at the Univerzitet 'Sv. Kiril i Metódij' vo Skopje between 1998 and 2004. Nestor also attended Rade Jovcevski Korcagin.
