Simon Snell

Simon Snell BA (Hons) is a seasoned professional in safeguarding training and consultancy, serving as the Founder and Director of Training at Safeguarding Associates for Excellence since October 2013. In addition to this role, Simon holds positions as a Senior NSPCC Associate Trainer & Consultant and an Associate Trainer at Barnardo's. Simon also acts as a Safeguarding Consultant and Lead for Exeter City Football Club. With a diverse background in training, coaching, and mentorship since 2002, Simon has operated Simon Snell Consultancy & Training, specializing in safeguarding issues, notably Child Sexual Exploitation and Internet Safety. Previous experience includes a decade-long role as a Detective Inspector at Devon and Cornwall Police, focusing on complex child exploitation investigations. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership and a Postgraduate Degree in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Plymouth and the University of Central Lancashire, respectively.
