Alison Sopp

Alison Sopp has extensive experience in fundraising and management within the non-profit sector, currently serving as the Senior Trusts and Grants Manager at Exeter University since January 2019. Prior to this role, Alison was the Director of Fundraising and Communications at Weston Hospicecare from December 2015 to January 2019 and held positions at Ambitious about Autism as Deputy Director of Fundraising and Head of Trusts and Statutory from January 2012 to November 2015. Alison also served as Head of Statutory Funding at Action for Blind People from March 2003 to December 2011 and held earlier roles as Case Manager at the New Opportunities Fund and Fundraiser at the Centre for Civic Cooperation. Alison began their career as an NGO Advisor at the NIOK Foundation. Alison holds a BA in English from the University of Leeds and a Diploma in Management Studies from London South Bank University.
