Shailesh Ghorpade

Shailesh Ghorpade is the founding managing partner and CIO of Exfinity Venture Partners. Shailesh has over two decades of experience in the Indian corporate sector, with a focus on strategy, planning, and investments.

Ghorpade began their career in 1995 as an associate vice president at Birla Global Finance Limited. In 1997, they joined Tata Finance Limited as a general manager. Shailesh spent five years at Infosys Technologies Limited from 2002 to 2006, where they rose to the position of associate vice president.

In 2006, Ghorpade joined Suzlon Energy Limited as chief strategy and planning officer. Shailesh spent four years at Suzlon before moving to Exfinity Venture Partners in 2010.

Ghorpade has been instrumental in Exfinity's success in investing in early and growth-stage companies across a range of sectors in India. Under their leadership, Exfinity has become one of the leading venture capital firms in the country.

Shailesh Ghorpade has a Masters in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in Finance from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.
