Laura Purdy, CEM, CMM, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales and event management. As the General Manager at Exhibition Place since August 2018, Laura leads the Executive Team in the development of international and domestic sales and marketing initiatives while overseeing multiple departments including Sales, Marketing, and Event Management Services. Previously, as Director of Sales & Marketing at Beanfield Centre/Enercare Centre, Laura contributed to strategic sales and marketing efforts within the meetings, convention, and exhibition sectors. Laura's career also includes a tenure as Director of Sales & Marketing at SMG's Direct Energy Centre. Educational credentials include completion of the Venue Management School and certifications in Meeting Management and Exhibition Management.
