Magda Banu

Magda Banu has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Magda worked as the Head of Finance & Accounting at EximBank starting in October 2016. Prior to that, they held various roles at Banca Romaneasca, including CFO from May 2015 to September 2016, Head of Finance & MIS from March 2013 to May 2015, and Reporting Manager from November 2007 to March 2013. Before joining Banca Romaneasca, Magda worked as a Reporting Officer at Alpha Bank from April 2006 to November 2007, and as a Senior Accountant at HVB Bank from July 2003 to April 2006. Their career started as an Accountant at Banque Franco Roumaine, where they worked from July 2001 to June 2003.

Magda Banu attended Academia de Studii Economice din București from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a degree in Economics with a specialization in Banking and Stock Exchanges. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at I. C. Bratianu Highschool from 1993 to 1997, focusing on Maths and Physics. Additionally, Magda Banu holds a Fellow membership (FCCA) from ACCA, and they are also a member of the Bowen Association Romania.
