James Lyon started their work experience in 1976 as the President of Lyon Glisson Development, a land development company focused on purchasing land and developing residential subdivisions. James held this position until 1992. In 2002, James and their wife purchased the first EXIT Franchise in Alabama and opened EXIT Realty Lyon, where they currently serve as the President and Qualifying Broker. Under their leadership, the company has grown to 34 agents and they are aiming to become the number one in their marketplace by the end of 2020. They are also planning to open a second office in Fairhope, AL in March.
James Lyon attended Murphy High School from 1968 to 1969. After graduating from Murphy High School, they enrolled at Davidson High School for the following academic year, from 1969 to 1970. From 1970 to 1976, James Lyon studied at Auburn University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Building Construction.
