Belgacem Imed is a highly experienced Chief Engineer with a significant background in the maritime industry. Currently serving at Excelerate Energy since August 2020, Belgacem has held key engineering roles at Exmar Shipmanagement since April 2013 and at Exmar since August 2002, specializing in LNG operations. Prior experience includes working as an Engineer Officer on a chemical tanker with Gabes Marine Tanker in Tunisia from July 1999 to August 2001. Belgacem holds a degree in Naval Mechanics from Antwerp Maritime Academy (2001-2002) and previously obtained a diploma as Officier Mécanicien de 2eme classe from Ecole de la Marine Marchande Sousse (1994-1999).
