Bastian Schwark

Bastian Schwark is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive experience in market operations, strategy, and business development. Currently serving as the Head of Market Operations at Swissgrid AG since October 2014, Bastian also holds significant roles as a member of the Supervisory Board at Joint Allocation Office (JAO SA) and Exnaton, along with leading the energy division at Wirtschaftliche Landesversorgung WL. Bastian has been active in supporting energy entrepreneurs as a board member at INVENTRIX Energy Ventures Network. Prior to these roles, Bastian worked as an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company and completed internships at Schneider Electric and UBS AG. Bastian holds a PhD in Management of Technology from EPFL and diplomas in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Grenoble INP - UGA.
