Katharina Behrends

Katharina Behrends is a seasoned media executive currently serving as a Member of the Supervisory Board at ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE since June 2023 and as General Manager for the German-speaking territories at MFE - MediaForEurope since October 2022. Previously, Katharina held key leadership positions at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from December 2005 to August 2021, including Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe, as well as for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Director of Business Affairs and Network Development at NBCUniversal and as a Member of the Supervisory Board at A+E Networks from January 2009 to April 2017. Earlier in the career, Katharina was the Head of Business Affairs and Distribution at Viacom from September 1999 to November 2005. Educational qualifications include a law degree from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg and Bar Exam completion from Universität Münster.
