Igor Garaev

Igor Garaev has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Igor began their career as an Assistant of the Department of Computer Modelling and Multiprocessor Systems at Saint Petersburg State University in September 2011. From February 2012 to December 2014, Igor worked as a Quant Analyst at FinanceDialog. Igor then joined Travel.ru (Oktogo Group) as a Data Scientist from December 2014 to March 2016, where they focused on analyzing large volumes of data to identify patterns and trends. From March 2016 to December 2021, Igor worked as a Senior Data Analyst/Scientist at Datauck, where they conducted comprehensive studies of client behavior and identified factors affecting conversions and monetary indicators. Since December 2021, they have been serving as a Lead Data Scientist at Paysenger.com, where they oversee the analytics team and is responsible for various tasks, including building infrastructure, implementing machine learning systems, and conducting advanced analysis for different departments. Igor is currently working as a Data Analyst at Exness from April 2023 onwards.

Igor Garaev completed their education in the field of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. From 2005 to 2010, they attended Saint Petersburg State University and obtained a Specialist level degree, which is considered equivalent to a Master of Science degree. Subsequently, they continued their studies at the same university from 2010 to 2013 as a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Igor Garaev has obtained several certifications. In March 2021, they completed the "Machine Learning. Advanced" certification from OTUS Online Education. In December 2020, they obtained a certification in "A/B testing and mathematical statistics" from EXPF. Similarly, in October 2020, they acquired a certification in "Big Data for Data Science" from Stepik.
