Brian Bircumshaw

Brian Bircumshaw is the VP of Product Engineering at Exo. Brian has over fifteen years of experience in the MEMS industry. Prior to joining Exo, Brian was the Director of MEMS Development at ON Semiconductor, where they oversaw the development of MEMS sensors and transducers. Brian has also held positions as a Principal MEMS Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific and a Staff MEMS Design Engineer at Atmel. In addition to their experience in the corporate sector, Brian has also worked as a consultant for BRC Consultants and as an NSF Summer Fellow at Yamatake Corporation. Brian holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

Brian Bircumshaw has a PhD in MEMS, Resonators from the University of California, Berkeley. Brian also has a Diploma in Technology Management from the University of Strathclyde, and an MPhil in Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Brian has a BS with Honor in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech.
