Dr. Paul Schnitzspan has a strong background in software development and quality assurance. Dr. Paul started their career as a working student at GTM Testing Metrology GmbH from 2001 to 2003. Dr. Paul then joined Sirona Dental Systems as a Project Lead in Software Development from 2010 to 2015. Since 2015, Dr. Schnitzspan has been with exocad, where they have held various roles including Software Development Manager and Senior Manager, Head of SQA and Medical Device Software Development. Dr. Paul currently serves as the Director of SQA, responsible for maintaining a high quality of software products and ensuring all employees adhere to the company's quality principle of "Quality before time before revenue."
Dr. Paul Schnitzspan earned their Diplom degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Dr. Paul later pursued further education at the same institution and obtained their Doctorate of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) with a focus on Computer Science, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Robotics from 2007 to 2010.
