Jeremy Kelley has a long and varied work experience. In 2020, they became the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientist at Exodus Intelligence, where they guide research and engineering efforts. In 2019, they took a sabbatical to work on projects and spend time with their family. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Director and Technical Director of Threat Data Engineering at Carbon Black, Inc. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Service Lead and Manager of Hunt Ops Research & Delivery at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. From 2013 to 2016, they were the ArcSight Lead Data Scientist at HP Enterprise Security. From 2011 to 2013, they were the CEO and co-founder of Snoball. From 2009 to 2011, they were the co-founder and principal of Phodder. In 2008, they were a PhD student at Texas A&M University and a Malware Analyst at the CERT Division of the Software Engineering Institute.

Jeremy Kelley attended Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained a Graduate degree in Computer Science, specifically Information Retrieval. Prior to that, they attended Texas State University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
