Oriol Castejón has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity and research.

Oriol started their career in 2013 and 2014 as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland.

In 2010, they worked as a Research Trainee at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.

From 2016 to 2018, they held roles as a Responsible for Data Intelligence at *Mr. John Sample / SCPF, and as a Developer at Cyberclick.

In 2018, they worked as a Security Engineer at AttackIQ until 2021.

From 2018 to 2018, they also had a part-time internship as a Security Analyst at Getronics Iberia.

Oriol then joined IOActive, Inc. in 2021 as a Security Consultant, later becoming a Senior Security Consultant until June 2023.

Currently, they are working as a Vulnerability Researcher at Exodus Intelligence.

Throughout their career, Oriol has gained expertise in vulnerability research, security consulting, security engineering, and data intelligence.

Oriol Castejón completed a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2004 to 2010. In 2010, they also obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Engineering from the same institution. Oriol then pursued a PhD in Mathematics at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2010 to 2015. Later, from 2017 to 2019, Oriol Castejón attended Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Security. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in March 2020.
