Henrik Plym-Forshell

Henrik Plym-Forshell is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. Henrik has held various roles throughout their career, starting as a Co-founder and Marketing Manager at ProAct Medical AB. Henrik then went on to work as a Nordic Product Manager at GE Healthcare and later became a Nordic Project Leader at General Electric Healthcare. Following this, Henrik joined Medtronic as the Business Director for North East Europe CRDM, where they specialized in medical technologies such as pacemakers and ICDs. Henrik then served as the CEO, Owner, and Founder of PlyMed AB, a consulting and trade company focused on the Nordic and European Life Science and Medical Technology markets. Henrik also held positions at Medtronic as the Western Europe Business Director for Infection Control and at Tieto as the Head of Lab and Digital Diagnostics. Most recently, they have been working as the Sales Director for EMEA at BC Platforms, a company that provides genomic data management solutions. Henrik's current role is Vice President of Business Development at Expando AB, where they focus on providing rugged computing solutions for the defense and aerospace sectors.

Henrik Plym-Forshell completed their MSc in Biomedical Engineering at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1996. In 1992 to 1993, they pursued a Platoon Leader program at the Swedish Amphibian Corps, KA1 Vaxholm. Later in 1994 to 1995, they attended Flinders University for Physiology and Computer Science. In 2008, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership Capability from Glasgow Caledonian University, specializing in Business Administration and General Management.
