Alok Gupta

Alok Gupta, PhD, MBA, is an experienced leader in the life sciences and healthcare technology sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Expansion Technologies Inc. since October 2023 and as Co-Founder & Advisor at VAYO since August 2023. Previously, Alok held significant roles including General Manager & Vice President of Enterprise Imaging at Merative and General Manager & Vice President at IBM Watson Health Imaging, where leadership spanned strategy, operations, and global business management during critical transitions. Alok's background also includes serving as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Brown University, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Information Officer at RI Quality Institute, and founding the AI Solutions Division at Siemens Healthcare. Alok is equipped with a PhD in Computer & Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School, alongside an early education in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
