Danny Godbout

Danny Godbout is a distinguished scientist at Expedia Group, having joined in April 2023, following a significant tenure at Microsoft from January 2019 to April 2023, where roles included Principal Data Scientist and tech lead for the AI for Data Foundations team. Prior to Microsoft, Danny held the position of Technical Fellow in Data Science at Paccar Information Technology Division, contributing to machine learning research and leading the Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence. Danny's earlier experience includes serving as Sr. Test & Development Engineer at Paccar and Sr. Design Engineer at Kenworth Truck Co., focusing on human-centered design and engineering innovations for truck models. Danny holds a Bachelor of Science in BioMedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University, and a Data Science certificate from the University of Washington.
