Zoe Yang

Zoe Yang serves as the VP of Data & AI at Expedia Group since June 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Director of Machine Learning Science and Engineering. Prior to Expedia Group, Zoe spent nearly seven years at Capital One, advancing from Director of Data Science & Product to Head of Analytics and Head of Data Science, where responsibilities included leading teams in machine learning and analytics, overseeing product lifecycles, and driving data-driven decision-making. Earlier experience includes serving as Engagement Manager at Oliver Wyman, managing consulting projects for leading financial institutions, and roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where Zoe was involved in private equity investments. Zoe's career began with research at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, focusing on econometrics and development economics, resulting in presentations at international conferences and a published journal article.
