Jacoby Highley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jacoby started their career in 1998 as a Physical Security Specialist at Advanced Security, where they maintained personnel security and performed sentry tasks. In 1999, they joined DataYard as a Technical Support Lead and Server Administrator, responsible for configuring and maintaining Windows servers and managing SQL databases. In 2006, Jacoby transitioned to BAE Systems as a Field Service Technician, contributing to the company's operations and providing technical support. Since 2013, they have been employed at Expedient Technology Solutions. Jacoby began as an End User Support Specialist and eventually worked their way up to Senior End User Support Specialist and Infrastructure Support Specialist. Currently, they serve as a Helpdesk Support Tier 2, delivering proactive and strategic support to clients. Throughout their career, Jacoby has demonstrated expertise in IT services, technical support, server administration, and physical security.

Jacoby Highley attended Sinclair from 2004 to 2006, where they studied IT. Jacoby did not obtain a degree during this period. Jacoby later obtained their high school diploma (GED) from Stebbins. In terms of certifications, Jacoby has the following:

- CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification, obtained in February 2023.

- CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional – CNIP Stackable Certification, obtained in January 2023.
