Angela Obias-Tuban is an experienced professional who has worked in various roles in the digital industry. Angela began their career in 2005 as a Research Executive at Philippine Survey and Research Center - Research International (PSRC-RI). Angela also served as a Coach for Women's Artistic Gymnastics at the Poveda Learning Center. In 2007, they joined ABS-CBN Corporation as Head of Digital Strategy, where they managed a team of four strategists and worked with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and execute digital products. Angela also served as UX (User Experience) and Interaction Design Head, as well as Senior Analyst (Research & Business Analysis). In 2014, they joined McCann Worldgroup as Strategic Planning Associate Director, where they created and presented a User Experience Strategy Toolkit for the Planning team. Angela also joined NuWorks Interactive Labs, Inc. as Head of Strategy, where they initiated the use of qualitative research as a basis for strategic planning in the agency. In 2015, they became a UX Research and Strategy Consultant at Priority Studios and a Faculty Member for User Experience and Digital Business Models at Ateneo de Manila University. In 2017, they joined Metrobank as UX Strategy and Design Head, AVP - Digital Banking Division, where they lead a team doing User Experience Research, Service Design and Product Strategy. Currently, they are the Head of Design at Expedock.
Angela Obias-Tuban completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University between 2001 and 2005. In April 2018, they obtained a certification in Designing for Change: IDEO's Approach to Sustaining Change from IDEO U.
