Humair Raj K.

Humair Raj K. has a diverse work experience in the field of machine learning and data science. Humair Raj started their career at Video Analytics Lab as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science. Humair Raj then worked as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Patna, where they focused on designing domain adaptation techniques for language agnostic vision+language embeddings. During this time, they also developed a knowledge distillation approach to extend an English language-vision teacher model into a multilingual and code-mixed student model.

After that, Humair joined ZS as a Data Science Associate, where they worked on projects related to marketing AI, motif detection, and goal prediction. Humair Raj utilized techniques such as micro segmentation, collaborative filtering, and genetic algorithms to generate market recommendations and sales forecasts. Humair Raj also built a convolution model for identifying driving motifs in patients' event history.

Currently, Humair is working at Expent as a Machine Learning Engineer. Humair Raj is responsible for building recommendation systems and question similarity pipelines. Humair Raj has deployed APIs with AWS Fargate Containers and models on AWS Sagemaker. Humair Raj has also developed an AB-Testing pipeline for real-time feedback on experiments.

Humair Raj K. attended the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee from 2015 to 2019, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree.
