Bhavin Gajera

Bhavin Gajera is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Experic since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Impel NeuroPharma from November 2017 to March 2023, holding the positions of Senior Scientist and Formulation Scientist. From September 2013 to November 2017, they served as a PhD Research Student at the Natoli Institute for Industrial Pharmacy Research and Development, LIU, where they focused on developing nanosuspension formulations and optimizing bead coatings for clotrimazole nanoparticles. Bhavin also worked as a PhD Research Candidate at Long Island University, Brooklyn from September 2013 to November 2017, where they gained experience in enhancing drug solubility and stability through complexation. Bhavin started their career as a Graduate Assistant at Long Island University in September 2011. Additionally, Bhavin served as an Academic Biology Tutor at Arthur O Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program from September 2011 to January 2017. Bhavin also gained industry experience as a Drug and Combination Product Development Intern at Shire from June 2015 to September 2015, where they assisted in designing and developing liquid formulations for protein-based therapeutics.

Bhavin Gajera completed their Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from the University of Mumbai between 2006 and 2010. Bhavin then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences at LIU Brooklyn from 2011 to 2012. Following this, Bhavin Gajera obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from LIU Brooklyn between 2013 and 2017.
