Jaylyn McCloy is a marketing professional with diverse experience in marketing partnership management and community relations. Currently serving as the Marketing Partnership Manager at Experience Grand Rapids since May 2022, Jaylyn previously held the position of Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Magnus Capital Partners, LLC, where rebranding efforts and digital ad campaigns were led. Jaylyn also has a background in education, having worked as a Cheerleading Coach at West Ottawa High School since October 2014, overseeing communication with athletes and parents. Additional experience includes roles as a Personal Banker at Fifth Third Bank, and as a Server/Bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings. Early career stages included internships focused on marketing and social media at the Lucas Howard Group and Grand Rapids After Hours. Jaylyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Grand Valley State University.

WHAT ARE WE: Experience Grand Rapids is the destination marketing organization (DMO) for Grand Rapids/Kent County, Michigan. We are the only community resource devoted to marketing the destination by raising visitor awareness of the region’s brand characteristics of craft beer, music, family fun, outdoor recreation, art and culture and food. We care deeply about the impression we make on the people who come here. And we are constantly innovating new and creative ways to make the Grand Rapids experience even better.
