Julie Dermis

Julie Dermis, CMP, currently serves as the Director of Destination and Event Services at Experience Kissimmee, a position held since February 2018. With over 15 years of experience in event management, Julie has previously worked as an Independent Meeting and Event Professional and as an Event Manager at Visit Orlando, where responsibilities included overseeing member partner events and managing various logistical aspects such as budgeting, venue selection, and vendor engagement. Julie began their career with SeaWorld & Discovery Cove, executing special events and handling logistics for media promotions. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of South Florida. Expertise includes site selection and building partnerships with industry professionals to create engaging events.
