Sara Slate

Sara Slate has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience, starting as a Graphic Design Intern at The Design Center at Ringling College of Art + Design in 2005. Sara then worked as an Interactive and Print Designer, Copy Writer at The Local Biz from 2006 to 2007. Sara later joined T3 as a Jr. Art Director from 2007 to 2009, and then moved up to become an Art Director from 2009 to 2011. Sara joined Dell in 2011 as an Interactive & UX Designer, where they worked on various projects and also created UX patterns for Dell.com's global design library. Sara then transitioned to T3 again in 2012 as a Sr. Art Director before joining Dell as a Sr. Interactive & UX Designer from 2014 to 2015. Sara then worked at Honeywell as a Sr. Experience Designer from 2015 to 2018 before joining General Motors as a Lead User Experience Designer in 2018. Currently, Sara holds the position of Director of User Experience at Expero since 2019.

Sara Slate attended Ringling College of Art and Design from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a B.F.A. degree in Graphic + Interactive Communication. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2002, they attended Purdue University to study Visual Communications Design. In 2000 to 2001, they attended Saint Mary's College to pursue Fine Arts. In 2016, Sara Slate obtained a certification as a Six Sigma Greenbelt from Honeywell.
