Jin Shaun Ang

Jin Shaun Ang has worked for a variety of companies since 2004. Jin Shaun began their career as an Assistant Director and Head of Strategic Planning for the Ministry of Manpower, Government of Singapore. In 2011, they worked as a Design Strategist for Yahoo! Inc. and as a Service Designer and User Researcher for The Chicago Bar Foundation. In 2012, they held the position of Design Researcher and Strategist at Jump Associates. From 2013-2017, they served as Innovation and Design Lead at Singapore Polytechnic, VP Experience Design at DBS Bank, Head of Experience Strategy and Research at honestbee, and Head of User Research / Research Principal at Carousell. Most recently, they were appointed Director of User Experience / Product at abillion in 2022.

Jin Shaun Ang has a comprehensive educational background. Jin Shaun began their education at Raffles Institution from 1992 to 1997. Jin Shaun then attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts in Economics between 1998 and 2001. After that, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and earned their Master of Science in Economics in 2002. Lastly, they attended the Institute of Design (ID) and obtained their Master of Design in Design Research, Planning and Strategy in 2012.
