The individual has worked in the oil and gas industry since 1980, starting with a role as Operations Superintendent at ExPert E&P Consultants, LLC. In the same year, they moved to Marubeni, where they have held the role of Deepwater Operations Superintendent since then.

Oil Gas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University between 1976 and 1980.
