Andrea Donaldson, PhD

Andrea Donaldson, PhD has held a variety of roles in the fields of education, art, and internet marketing. In 2015, they were an Institute of Physics Scholar, Science Busker for Great Scott! Productions Ltd, Administrative Assistant for Finance and Trusts at Demelza Hospice Care for Children, STEM Coordinator at Highsted Grammar School, and Science Runner for the BBC at the Cheltenham Science Festival. Andrea also held a BBC Science Department placement, where they carried out research for the Forces of Nature Programme and assisted with filming equipment. In 2016, they were a Physics Teacher at Oxford Spires Academy, and from 2018-2021 they were a Freelance Teacher/Science communicator, Artist, and Project Manager at Expert Internet Marketing.

Andrea Donaldson, PhD completed their Science PGCE at the University of Oxford from 2015 to 2016. Andrea earned their PhD in Physics from Royal Holloway, University of London from 2007 to 2011. Andrea completed their first year of PhD studies in Condensed Matter Physics at the University of Liverpool from 2006 to 2007. Andrea received their MSci in Physics from UCL from 2002 to 2006.
