Ant Thirkell

Ant Thirkell is a seasoned Design Leader with extensive experience in mechanical design, currently employed at Expert Technologies Group since September 2015. In this role, Ant leads all aspects of mechanical design on projects, ensuring adherence to company standards regarding timelines and budgets. Previous positions include Senior Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on the design and commissioning of special purpose machinery and automation. Prior experience at CMP Products and Fin Machine Company involved significant contributions to machine design and assembly automation. Ant holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Design & Technology from Northumbria University, obtained in 2002, and has a solid foundational education from Emmanuel College, Gateshead.
