Lena Caquelin currently serves as a Component Manager for Geospatial Data at Expertise France, overseeing the Data Governance in Africa Initiative since August 2023. Previously, Lena held the position of Project Assistant for the Sustainable and Inclusive Economy Entrepreneurship initiative and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on European extreme political parties' positions on Climate Change at Boston University. Additionally, Lena contributed to a consultancy project on food prices in Bangladesh for the World Bank and served as an Office Assistant at Boston University College of Engineering. Earlier experience includes working as an Educational Assistant at the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. Lena holds a Master of Global Policy with a specialization in Development from Boston University, along with multiple bachelor's degrees in International Business and Administration from UQAM and Université Paris-Est Créteil, and has pursued summer studies in Mandarin at Shanghai International Studies University.
