Marion Hemar

Marion HEMAR is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in economic reform, investment strategy, and macroeconomic analysis. Currently serving as a Senior Economic Advisor to the Regional Government of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq at Expertise France since January 2024, Marion has also held positions at the Université d'Orléans as a macroeconomics lecturer. Previously, Marion worked as a Senior Investment Officer at Proparco, focusing on financial structuring, and as a Country Risk Economist at the Agence Française de Développement, where responsibilities included evaluating macroeconomic impacts and addressing climate risks across various countries. Marion's earlier experience encompasses roles at IEDOM-IEOM, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, and the OECD, coupled with strong educational credentials including multiple Master's degrees in economics from prestigious institutions.
